3D: tasks and guides
Choose a guide for a specific task.
Choose a task
First obtain a frame with a Mesh, a current Camera3D and actual level lighting. Then add materials, physics and effects. For a complete example, use the first 3D game.
| Task | Guide |
|---|---|
| First objects, camera and lighting | First objects, camera and lighting |
| Position, rotation and scale | Position, rotation and scale |
| Surface materials | Surface materials |
| Lights and shadows | Lights and shadows |
| Environment and postprocessing | Environment and postprocessing |
| Global illumination | Global illumination |
| Antialiasing | Antialiasing |
| Reducing geometry complexity | Reducing geometry complexity |
| Visibility by distance | Visibility by distance |
| Repeated objects | Repeated objects |
For external models, start with 3D import. Choose an optimization based on the measured slow-frame cause: LOD, visibility ranges and MultiMesh address different problems.
