Tilt Five SDK and engine integration
Tilt Five uses glasses, a game board and a wand controller. Initial hardware setup is covered by the manufacturer's documentation. Device documentation does not establish a ready-made Reckfell plugin.
The current built-in module tree has no separate Tilt Five module. A clean project in installed Reckfell 1.0.0 for Windows registered no TiltFive class family or interface named TiltFive. Other projects with their own extensions were outside the check. This guide claims no ready-made Reckfell package, compatible version or maintaining team.
What an adapter must provide
The manufacturer supplies a Native SDK with C/C++ interfaces to the Tilt Five Service, glasses and wands. The low-level route requires preparing eye textures; the SDK also supports multiple glasses on one computer.
A Reckfell adapter must define:
- which component owns each device and which Viewport/view set is submitted to it;
- how game-board-relative poses map to gameplay world space and back;
- how controller buttons and poses enter gameplay input;
- who submits textures, synchronizes access and frees native resources on disconnect.
These are development boundaries, not an implemented example. Submitting a texture through an SDK does not automatically register an XRInterface in Reckfell. One global primary interface alone does not describe multi-user routing either.
If the project already has an integration
Use interface and class names documented by that specific adapter. Do not replace them with an arbitrary XRServer.FindInterface("TiltFive"): the implementation must actually register the name. Test one device first, then separation of user views/input, disconnection/reconnection and application shutdown.
General XR rig and coordinate-space rules remain useful for gameplay. They neither connect the Tilt Five SDK nor establish external-binary compatibility with Reckfell 1.0.0. Obtain graphics-API and device-lifecycle requirements from the selected SDK/adapter documentation.
Verification scope
Built-in modules, interface registration and official hardware/Native SDK pages were reviewed. The clean headless project started no device and loaded no external adapter. Driver/Service, glasses, wand, per-eye output, multiple users, export and imagery were not tested. The assertion of a ready-made “TiltFive Reckfell plugin” was replaced with verified boundaries; engine source was unchanged.
