ReckfellExtension
Native extension library-state resource.
Use ReckfellExtensionManager for ordinary loading and unloading. After checking IsExtensionLoaded, obtain the resource and query IsLibraryOpen or its minimum initialization level. Creating an empty resource does not open a library.
The current managed SDK retains three stubs: OpenLibrary returns Unavailable, while CloseLibrary and InitializeLibrary do nothing. These C# declarations do not establish support for corresponding operations in the ordinary native API. They do not replace the manager.
Holding a resource can keep the library open after registry removal. Do not call deinitialized extension-class methods merely because IsLibraryOpen remains true.

Constructors1
ReckfellExtensionConstructor
public ReckfellExtension();Creates a resource with no open library or manager registration. For ordinary loading use ReckfellExtensionManager.LoadExtension with the descriptor path.
Methods5
CloseLibraryvoid
public void CloseLibrary();Stub retained in the current C# SDK: calling it does nothing and does not close the library. It is absent from the current native class’s ordinary method list. Use ReckfellExtensionManager.UnloadExtension for managed unloading.
GetMinimumLibraryInitializationLevelReckfellExtension.InitializationLevel
public ReckfellExtension.InitializationLevel GetMinimumLibraryInitializationLevel();Reads the minimum initialization level declared by an open library. Neither the current reached level nor an initialization command. Check IsLibraryOpen first: a closed library produces native diagnostics with a Core fallback.
ReckfellExtension.InitializationLevelLibrary minimum level. Core on a closed resource is an error fallback, not proof of a valid library.
InitializeLibraryvoid
public void InitializeLibrary(ReckfellExtension.InitializationLevel level);Stub retained in the current C# SDK: calling it does not initialize the library. Lack of an exception does not confirm class registration. ReckfellExtensionManager manages an ordinary extension’s lifecycle.
| Name | Type | Default |
|---|---|---|
level | ReckfellExtension.InitializationLevel | — |
levelRetained SDK-signature parameter ignored by the current stub; the manager handles ordinary extension initialization levels.
IsLibraryOpenbool
public bool IsLibraryOpen();Checks this resource’s library-open state. Distinct from manager registry membership: a held resource can remain open after UnloadExtension. The value does not certify each API call.
booltrue when the resource holds an open library loader; false before opening or after actual closure.
OpenLibraryError
public Error OpenLibrary(string path, string entrySymbol);Stub retained in the current C# SDK: always returns Error.Unavailable and does not load a library. Not an alternative to the manager. Use ReckfellExtensionManager.LoadExtension with a .reckfellextension path for ordinary extensions.
| Name | Type | Default |
|---|---|---|
path | string | — |
entrySymbol | string | — |
pathRetained SDK-signature parameter. The stub ignores the path; this call opens neither a DLL nor an extension descriptor.
entrySymbolRetained SDK-signature parameter. The current stub neither uses it nor resolves a symbol; set entry_symbol in the extension descriptor.
ErrorError.Unavailable in the checked current SDK implementation; no library is opened.

Core = 0 | The library is initialized at the same time as the core features of the engine. |
Editor = 3 | The library is initialized at the same time as the engine's editor classes. Only happens when loading the ReckfellExtension in the editor. |
Scene = 2 | The library is initialized at the same time as the engine's scene-related classes. |
