Popup
Temporary popup window with a hide notification.
Inherits Window. Add Popup to the tree, configure content and open through inherited Popup/PopupCentered methods. Created hidden, transient, borderless and with PopupWindow enabled. Use PopupPanel for a ready background, PopupMenu for commands and ConfirmationDialog for confirmation.
With standard PopupWindow enabled, ui_cancel, usually Escape, activates dismissal. Parent-window focus, application focus loss and window-system requests can also initiate closing. Native/embedded windows differ in focus handling; do not infer an operation result from assuming one particular close reason.
PopupHide reports hiding rather than confirmation. It supplies no reason or result. Apply a popup form’s changes in its own handler and retain the result separately; use PopupHide to finish temporary UI state. Internal dismissal schedules Hide deferred. Hiding an already hidden window does not create another transition.
Hiding does not free Popup or children, allowing reuse. Free the application-owned instance separately when no longer needed. Opening can adjust position/size to the available parent-window/screen area. Do not substitute screen coordinates for child-Control local coordinates.
Declarations checked against C# SDK 1.0.0. Expand a name to see declarations and documentation.
Constructors1
PopupConstructor
public Popup();Creates a hidden transient window with WrapControls, Borderless and PopupWindow. Application code supplies content/actions.
Signals and events1
PopupHideEvent
public event Action PopupHide;Reports popup hiding without reason/result parameters. Do not treat it as save confirmation. Repeated Hide on an already hidden window creates no transition.
