OpenXRSpatialComponentMesh3DList

3D spatial snapshot data without automatic scene binding.

On this page
class OpenXRSpatialComponentMesh3DListReckfellSharpInherits OpenXRSpatialComponentData

Component-data container for QuerySnapshot. OpenXRSpatialQueryResultData must be first in its array; use matching row indices/states. SetCapacity allocates rather than fetching/validating data. Raw poses/extents do not automatically apply WorldOrigin/reference frame/WorldScale.

Filled-row Mesh3D origin in tracking space. Neither an Entity GlobalTransform nor an automatic XRAnchor3D mesh offset; reconcile scale/reference/world origin separately. Never read after SetCapacity alone without successful querying. A transform does not imply implemented mesh conversion.

Current 1.0.0 implementation always returns null: native Mesh3D-to-Mesh conversion remains TODO. Confirmed on the installed Runtime with a valid allocated index. Do not depend on a ready Mesh, interpret null as proof of absent room data or create collisions from missing geometry. No real snapshot was executed.

Spatial entities. Ten bounded Windows XR-off checks covered metadata, null mesh and list behavior. Real snapshots/parents/bounds/poses, persistence headers, headsets and export remain untested. Engine Source, Runtime and SDK unchanged.

Declarations checked against C# SDK 1.0.0. Expand a name to see declarations and documentation.

Constructors1

OpenXRSpatialComponentMesh3DListConstructor
# OpenXRSpatialComponentMesh3DList
C#
public OpenXRSpatialComponentMesh3DList();

Creates a caller-owned RefCounted container without starting OpenXR, querying or persistence operations. Storage starts empty; constructor success establishes no runtime support. Keep owned resources alive during native use and release after detaching owned references; do not Dispose engine-owned wrappers.

Methods2

GetMeshMesh
# GetMesh
C#
public Mesh GetMesh(long index);

Parameters
NameTypeDefault
indexlong—
index

Zero-based filled-row index from the same QuerySnapshot, not entity ID. SetCapacity alone is insufficient for reading fetched data.

Returns Mesh

Current 1.0.0 implementation always returns null: native Mesh3D-to-Mesh conversion remains TODO. Confirmed on the installed Runtime with a valid allocated index. Do not depend on a ready Mesh, interpret null as proof of absent room data or create collisions from missing geometry. No real snapshot was executed.

GetTransformTransform3D
# GetTransform
C#
public Transform3D GetTransform(long index);

Parameters
NameTypeDefault
indexlong—
index

Zero-based filled-row index from the same QuerySnapshot, not entity ID. SetCapacity alone is insufficient for reading fetched data.

Returns Transform3D

Filled-row Mesh3D origin in tracking space. Neither an Entity GlobalTransform nor an automatic XRAnchor3D mesh offset; reconcile scale/reference/world origin separately. Never read after SetCapacity alone without successful querying. A transform does not imply implemented mesh conversion.
