IAwaiter<TResult>
Await contract with a result.
C# awaiter contract: IsCompleted, GetResult and OnCompleted inherited from INotifyCompletion. GetResult returns TResult. This is an interface, not a task scheduler. Completion timing, errors, execution thread and repeated reads depend on the implementation. The SignalAwaiter uses the typed form with Variant[].
Declarations checked against C# SDK 1.0.0. Expand a name to see declarations and documentation.
Properties1
IsCompletedProperty
public abstract bool IsCompleted { get; }Completion state supplied by the implementation. C# checks it before registering a continuation. The interface itself does not define completion timing, cancellation or execution thread.
Methods1
GetResultTResult
public abstract TResult GetResult();Obtains TResult after completion. The interface contains no implementation and does not define ownership, repeated reads or error propagation; check the concrete awaiter documentation.
TResultImplementation-defined TResult value; not necessarily a reference, Task or resource.
