These Terms apply to the Reckfell deployment that links to this page. The person or organisation identified in the Imprint is the Operator. If you run Reckfell yourself, you are the operator of that deployment and must publish terms appropriate to your users and jurisdiction.
By creating an account or using the hosted service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to use the service in your country and meet any minimum age shown during registration. Keep account credentials and recovery codes secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you report unauthorised access promptly through Support.
2. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break applicable law, harm others, interfere with the platform, evade access controls, distribute malware, or violate the Community Guidelines. Automated clients and bots must use documented interfaces and respect rate limits.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant the Operator a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, transcode, generate previews, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, moderate, and back up the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup retention and legal obligations.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload and share your content. Public communities, profiles, bots, and discovery listings may be visible without an account.
4. Moderation and termination
The Operator may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or preserve records when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the service, investigate abuse, or comply with law. Where practical, the reason and appeal route will be provided. Appeals can be submitted through Support.
5. Service changes and availability
Features, limits, APIs, and supported clients may change. Planned maintenance and known incidents are published on the status page. The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6. Third-party services
Optional integrations such as email delivery, object storage, identity providers, push notification networks, app stores, and external bots may have their own terms. The Operator is not responsible for services it does not control.
7. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by content supplied by users, or outages outside its reasonable control.
8. Changes
Material changes will be announced before they take effect when reasonably possible. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and delete your account.
9. Governing law and contact
The law and courts applicable to the Operator are listed in the Imprint, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country. Questions and legal notices can be submitted through Support.
